Your Wellbeing Support
We are a relational ITT provider and we strongly believe in creating support networks to help you during your training year, into your NQT year and beyond. We believe this is essential in ensuring you are successful during your training. You will find that you have a support network around you during your training year and click on the Support Network button to see who is involved in this network.
As a personalised, relational and ethical provider, we believe that supporting your well-being and mental health during your training year is key to your progress and development as a trainee teacher. And so it follows that the students in your care will also benefit.
To us, wellbeing isn't just a buzz phrase or a tick box exercise. We know that teaching can be stressful - as it can be rewarding, and our aim is to get the right balance of support, knowing that the skills and tools you'll gain will help your wellbeing and mental health throughout your training year and beyond into your teaching career.
Each trainee has a personal tutor who will be alongside you every step of the way. You will be in at least weekly contact with your personal tutor for on-going professional and personal support.
24/7 Telephone Support
As a trainee on our programmes, you will be able to access the services provided by the Education Support Partnership. This is a charity which provides 24 hour, 7 day a week free confidential support and counselling for home-life and work related issues, finance, debt and legal enquiries.
